The book Physical Activity in the Prevention and Treatment of Disease is now translated to vietnamese and used in health care education in Vietnam. Read more about the Vietnam project on www.pa4gh.org.

FYSS will soon be available in one more language. The Vietnamese version of FYSS will be printed next week and the ongoing campaign Move for Health and Happiness in Vietnam is focusing on physical activity in prevention and treatment of disease.

Physical inactivity has a major health effect worldwide. Decrease in or removal of this unhealthy behaviour could improve health substantially, a study in Lancet suggests. http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736%2812%2961031-9/abstract    

A lack of exercise is now causing as many deaths as smoking, a study suggests.
